DivE-Q Event: Workshop “Networking – Which networks do I need to reach my career goals?”

Symbolic picture for the article. The link opens the image in a large view.

For many scientists the career path is not defined. They are required to make realistic and courageous
decisions. For personal career planning, they have to develop various options for themselves and
prepare themselves strategically for national and international applications. Decisions for the next
career steps must be made in such a way that all areas of life, such as work, family, life goals, and
social commitment are adequately considered. The decisions should lead to a fulfilled (professional)
life. Accordingly, it is not enough to focus on the competences and abilities of the career choice “only”.
For the further career path, the personal prerequisites, one’s own values and wishes play an essential
role.

In this workshop, you will focus on these questions

  • How do I become visible as an expert in my field?
  • What relevant networks can I use?
  • Network etiquette: What do I need to consider when networking?
