To support the most talented young scientists working in the field of quantum cooperativity of light and matter, the TRR 306 QuCoLiMa offered the QuCoLiMa Starting Grant endowed with 150,000 EUR and support within the QuCoLiMa structures (see call).

Today, during the welcome of the International Conference of Light and Matter, the QuCoLiMa Starting Grant was officially awarded to Jun-Prof. Dr. Angela Wittmann. Congratulations!

Angela returned from the US to JGU Mainz to start a new group exploring spintronic phenomena in novel and unconventional materials systems. Within QuCoLiMa, Angela will work towards Mediating quantum cooperativity in single-molecule magnets via plasmons.
